Hi! My name is April, owner and operator of April’s Sweet Treats! I bake out of my home kitchen (licensed & permitted) in Hemet, California. I began baking at a very young age (for fun, of course!) and I have always loved to create baked goods that people love! April’s Sweet Treats became an official business in June 2020, and I have been blessed by my amazing customers! Without all of you, none of this would be possible! Your support means everything!

I took a cake decorating class at a local craft store about 13 years ago, but other than that I am fully self-taught. I have invested many hours into research, tutorials, lots of trial and error, many late nights, plenty of tears, but also lots of happiness! I am a firm believer that you will learn something new every day (and with every order) if you have the mindset to do so!

 

Fun facts: I am married to my best friend and high school sweetheart, and we have 3 beautiful, fun, and smart children together! I LOVE working out and lifting heavy weights! I have a passion for teaching and nurturing children, I worked as a special needs assistant pre-school teacher prior to going full time with my bakery business. Kiddos will always have a place in my heart :)
